Greetings from the Office of International Affairs at Korea Maritime & Ocean University (KMOU).

I am pleased to invite your esteemed university's students to participate in the “K-Ocean Weeks! SEA LINK (Science & Exchange Alliance LINK)” Program, a Korea-Japan Government Scholarship-supported short-term program hosted by KMOU.

This program will be held from August 3 to August 21, 2026, in Busan, Korea, and is designed to provide Japanese undergraduate students with valuable opportunities to engage in:
• Lectures on ocean science and technology
• Field trips and industrial visits related to the maritime sector
• Korean language and cultural experiences
• Exchange activities with KMOU students

Nominated students will be reviewed and selected by KMOU.
Selected participants will receive comprehensive support, including round-trip airfare, accommodation, program fees, meals, and insurance coverage.

For your convenience, the required application documents are listed below.
We would appreciate it if all documents could be submitted together with the nomination:

1. Nomination Sheet (including the order of priority): Attached 1) MS Excel File
2. Application Form (for each nominee): Attached 2) MS Word File
3. Personal Statement & Plan (for each nominee): Attached 2) MS Word File
4. Official English Proficiency Test Score Report
4-1. If unavailable, a Certificate of English Proficiency issued by your institution will be accepted: Attached 2) MS Word File
「FORM 3. English Proficiency Confirmation Form」は、指導教員に記入を依頼してください。
5. Certificate of Enrollment (in English)
6. Official Academic Transcript (in English), including the cumulative GPA
7. Copy of Valid Passport (Identification Page): PDF Scanned File
