We are delighted to announce that the VU Amsterdam Summer School 2026 is open for applications!

The course catalogue offers intensive short programmes for all academic levels (introductory, advanced Bachelor's, Master's, PhD/Professionals) and is fully available online.
Our selection of courses is wide and focusing on 5 pillars that embody the values of the Vrije Universiteit.

Peacebuilding

Dates: July 4 - August 2 2026 (including arrival and departure days)

Session 1: July 4 - July 18
Session 2a: July 19 - August 2
Session 2b: July 19 - July 26

As always, your students are eligible for a 10% discount on the tuition fees.

Applying for Courses

Students can fill in the Application Form and select the option “I am currently a student or PhD candidate at a Partner University” to receive reduced fees. They can complete their application via direct payment on the spot.
