Warm greetings from National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), Taiwan!

In August 2026, NCHU will host the 2026 Semiconductor Summer School, a two-week program.
This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of semiconductor technology through a blend of lectures and hands-on laboratory experiences.

We are very pleased to officially open this program to students from Japan, and we believe students from Japan could greatly benefit from this international experience.
The program will take place from August 10 to 21, 2026, on our campus in Taichung, Taiwan.

The application deadline is 15 April, 2026.

To encourage participation from Japan students, we plan to provide limited spots of scholarship, which include:
1. Flight subsidy: up to NTD 15,000
2. Tuition and materials: fully waived (valued at NTD 10,000)
3. Accommodation subsidy: only for students staying in NCHU dormitories from August 10 to 21, 2026(valued at NTD 10,000). Students who choose to arrange their own lodging need to cover those costs by themselves. (*Final decision at the discretion of the organizing center).

We believe this will be an excellent academic and cultural opportunity for students to learn about Taiwan’s world-renowned semiconductor industry while engaging in international exchange.
