The Science of Influence: Applied Neuromarketing Research for Marketing Strategy

The Science of Influence explores how consumer attention works and what influences decision-making.
Through consumer psychology and practical neuromarketing methods such as eye-tracking and facial coding, students gain skills they can apply in marketing, communication and design.

Strengthening Democracies: Building Resilience and Resistance to Information Disorders
27 July - 7 August, 2026 (two-week course, 10 study days)

It is a two-week course for those who want to better understand how disinformation spreads and why public discussion spaces become vulnerable.
Combining conceptual learning with practical exercises, it offers useful tools for navigating and responding to information disorder in today’s media environment.

Entrepreneurship in Arts and Creative Industries
3 August - 9 August, 2026 (one-week course)
500 EUR

This Course is a hands-on course exploring creativity, entrepreneurship and the Estonian art and creative sector.
With visits to museums and creative spaces, guest experts and practical assignments, it offers a valuable introduction to working in the arts and creative industries.

Gentle Introduction to R
27 July - 4 August, 2026 (1.5-week course, 7 study days)
700 EUR

This course is practical, designed to make learning R feel approachable and useful from the start.
Participants work with real datasets while learning the basics of R and RStudio, data visualisation, data transformation and reproducible reporting.

The room types available at Guide Hotel are as follows:
• Twin-shared room (NTD 1,500 per room per night)

Regarding arrival arrangements, we recommend that participants arrive on Saturday, August 8, and book flights that land at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) before 2:00 PM.
If arrival on this date is not feasible, please inform us in advance and kindly arrange transportation to the hotel independently. We also suggest avoiding flights that arrive in Taiwan too late in the evening.

Furthermore, we will be offering 2 scholarship places for participating students. Students beyond these two places are also welcome to join the program at their own expense.
The eligibility requirement for the scholarship is an average GPA of 2.5/4.0for the two semesters prior to applying to NYCU. If only one semester of grades is available, we can accept that as well.

The University of Nairobi is pleased to announce that the third edition of the two-week African School (Summer School) on Climate Change Adaptation is now officially open for registration.

This immersive program features two flagship courses, Nature-Based Solutions and Adaptation Pathways, delivered by expert faculty from the Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation, housed within the Faculty of Science and Technology.

Our intensive summer courses are designed to provide students with a wide choice of topics along with the flexibility to combine them into a tailor-made schedule.
Each course is offered over 1 or 2 weeks, during either the morning or the afternoon.
Students are welcome to take one or multiple courses, allowing them to design their stay to suit their own schedule.

We are delighted to announce that NDHU will host a three-week Summer Program from August 3 to August 23, 2026, and we would like to warmly invite students from your esteemed institution to participate.

The theme of this year’s program is:
“Community Sustainability: Indigenous Culture and Innovative Tourism.”

This program offers an immersive and interdisciplinary learning experience, integrating academic lectures with hands-on activities and field visits.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
• Explore Taiwan’s rich Indigenous cultures and traditions
• Learn about community-based sustainable development
• Engage in innovative tourism practices and real-world case studies
• Participate in experiential cultural and ecological activities

本プログラムは日韓友好協会と淑明女子大学で特別開講する短期留学コースです。
授業は韓国人講師による質の高い韓国語授業、多様な韓国文化体験や淑明女子大学に通う韓国人学生との交流など内容充実のプログラムです。
研修は午前から午後までみっちり行われるので韓国語の実力を短期間で伸ばすことが出来ます。
淑明女子大学は120年の長い歴史を誇る伝統ある女子大学として有名でソウル駅や明洞、梨泰院に近く便利な立地に学校があります。また、淑明女子大学が提供する学生寮に滞在することも出来ます。

研修期間　(出発日/帰国日)：＜2026年夏休み2週間コース＞　2026年8月5日(水)出発～8月20日(木)帰国

研修内容 ：
＊語学力に応じたクラスを編成して授業を進行します(日本で事前にクラス分け試験)。
*午前も午後も韓国語授業を行います(そのうち3日間は午後に文化活動実施予定)。
＊文化活動(韓国料理、伝統文化体験、KPOP体験など)※内容は後日決定されます
＊文化活動中に韓国人学生との交流を実施予定です。

Welcome!
The deeply cosmopolitan atmosphere of Germany's oldest university provides people from around the world with a welcoming and stimulating environment for expanding their interest in German language and culture.

Participants in the 2026 International Summer School for German Language and Culture can look forward to a varied program under the general theme “Germany Between European Responsibility and Global Challenges”:
Core language classes are held in the morning; in the afternoon, participants can take part in a variety of complimentary classes related to their course level. Additionally, there will be workshops, lectures and a variety of cultural and social events. German students suggest additional spare time activities.

●Date for all courses　：July 31 to August 27, 2026

The International Summer School offers three different language courses, each with its own diverse set of challenges. Verbal communication will be the focus in the courses I and III.
Class size for all courses is about 14 - 16.
Additional diplomas are issued to those who pass a written examination. The diploma is equivalent to 4 credit points of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

Registration for the 2026 International Summer School is now open.
Participants must be - at the start of the course - 18 years or older.
Registration begins on January 15, 2026, from which day the registration form will be available here on this page.

As soon as we receive the completed registration form, we will send you an e-mail confirmation and further information, including payment options. You will then have three weeks to pay the course fee by credit card and submit any additional documents (e.g. passport copy). We will keep you informed by e-mail about the status of your registration.
We aim to accept a percentage of diverse participants from different countries in order to enhance the course’s international character. There is no entitlement to participation in the International Summer School.
※Group registration is not possible. We do not accept group payment.

●Fee and withdrawal
The fee for the International Summer School is € 910.

●Withdrawal (having paid the course fee)
